What Did Caicedo Tell Brighton?
Romano claims that Caicedo has been quite stern with his message to Brighton and has told them he wants to join Chelsea immediately after being involved in an ongoing battle for his signature between the London side and Liverpool.

It’s added that Pochettino’s side are expected to make a new bid to sign the 21-year-old and that it will not be less than £110 million. This comes after it was reported that Liverpool had a bid of £110 million accepted by the Seagulls, only for the young midfielder to reject them as he’s keen on a move to Stamford Bridge.
Caicedo refused to travel to Liverpool for his medicals and turned them down even after Jurgen Klopp confirmed the agreement to sign him. Romano claims that the Blues remain confident of their chances to get this deal done quickly so that the 21-year-old can join up with their squad soon, with personal terms already agreed between Chelsea and the Ecuadorian international.
What Else Are Chelsea Working On?
As they aim to get the Caicedo deal over the line, the Blues are also working on other deals. They are reported to be stepping up their interest to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise to add more depth to their attack after the unfortunate injury to Christopher Nkunku.
