Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal got the better of Bournemouth with ease on Saturday afternoon, and one of the goalscorers was Kai Havertz.
Kai Havertz, who joined Arsenal from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, scored in the 53rd minute of the Premier League match against Bournemouth away from home.

It came from the penalty spot.
Havertz has been struggling to score and provide assists for Arsenal since his £65 million transfer in the summer of 2023.
And today, the Germany international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward, finally scored his first goal for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Piers Morgan on Kai Havertz scoring for Arsenal vs Bournemouth
TV personality Piers Morgan was following the match.
Morgan is a well-known Arsenal fan, and during the game, he expressed his concerns over Havertz.
However, as soon as the former Chelsea attacker scored, he changed his tune, as you can see below.
HT: 0-2. Arsenal superb today but still not convinced Raya is better than Ramsdale, and still no idea why we signed Havertz. Trusting the process, but a tad confused by these two parts of it.

The win against Bournemouth is massive for Arsenal.
The Gunners are doing extremely well at the moment and are very much among the top candidates for the Premier League title.
Kai Havertz could now explode
I think that Kai Havertz could now start to deliver the goods for Arsenal.
That goal from the penalty spot is going to boost Havertz’s confidence.
And that could see the forward turn on the style.
Arsenal need Havertz at his best to win the Premier League title and also make an impact in the UEFA Champions League this season.
