‘Embarrassing’: Ian ‘The Moose’ Abrahams posts ridiculous Declan Rice tweet after West Ham batter Arsenal

Ian ‘The Moose’ Abrahams posted an absolutely ridiculous Declan Rice tweet after West Ham battered Arsenal last night.

West Ham were too good for Arsenal in the Carabao Cup fourth round clash at London Stadium last night, and ‘The Moose’ Ian Abrahams posted a tweet about Declan Rice after the match.

The 24-year-old received a mix response from the Hammers faithful during his highly anticipated return to the London Stadium, and he sent a message to the West Ham supports on Instagram after the match.

Hammers boss David Moyes would have been delighted with the way in which his team went about their business against the Gunners.

We’re now through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup and will face Liverpool at Anfield next month – a great achievement from Moyes, his staff and of course, the players.

However, the post-match reaction still seems to be centred around Rice’s return. And West Ham supporting journalist Ian Abrahams had a really weird take on the whole situation…

The well-renowned talkSPORT reporter took to his official X, formally known as Twitter, account last night to give his two pence on the reception that Dec received.

And his tweet really was a strange one in my opinion:

I hope those booing Dec remember outside of Bobby Moore and Billy Bonds, he’s the only man to captain ⁦@WestHam⁩ to silverware – booing is embarrassing in my opinion pic.twitter.com/518FhcNZ5u

Sure, Rice led us to our first major trophy since 1980 last season, but if he wanted to become a West Ham legend, he had the option to stay at the club.

For the record, I have no problem with Dec having left West Ham to join Arsenal – he has more chance of winning big trophies there than he would have done with the Hammers.

However, for anyone to expect him to receive a warm welcome when he returns to the London Stadium is completely ridiculous.

He plays for a rival club now and as a result, he should receive exactly the same treatment that any other player gets.

The tweet from The Moose about Declan Rice was complete and utter nonsense as far as I’m concerned.
