Jurrien Timber should be back from his injury in March
Arsenal signed Jurrien Timber from Ajax in the summer in what was viewed by everyone as a really exciting signing.
The Dutchman had an incredible pre-season as well, showing his class in both full-back positions. He was brilliant against Manchester City in the Community Shield too.
Everyone was looking forward to seeing Timber in action for Arsenal in the Premier League, but sadly, he suffered a serious injury in his very first game.
The defender has been working really hard on his recovery behind the scenes, and Football Transfers have now shared some excellent news for Gunners fans.
Timber is reportedly ahead of schedule in his recovery and is already in Phase 3 of his rehabilitation. He is expected to be fully fit by March next year.

Timber will make us incredibly strong
Jurrien Timber was one of the smartest signings by any club in the summer, and we’re so glad that it was Arsenal who got him.
The 22-year-old can play anywhere across the backline and also in defensive midfield. He is excellent on the ball, very good without it, and his performances in pre-season showed that he fits Mikel Arteta‘s system perfectly.
Timber’s ability to invert from either full-back position makes him a really special player, and his return will make us an incredibly difficult side to beat.
Hopefully, Arsenal will be on top of the table at that point, and Timber coming back in will be the boost we need to go all the way.
