So, this means that Arsenal would have to make the striker their most expensive signing in club history. Declan Rice is the Gunners’ record signing at £100 million (Sky).

My View: Victor Osimhen could be a massive signing for Arsenal
In my opinion, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen would be a brilliant signing for Arsenal in the January transfer window.

I believe that the striker could help Arsenal win the Premier League title this season. Chelsea have also been linked, while Manchester United have been told to make a move for him.

Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world. AC Milan central defender Fikayo Tomori, formerly of Chelsea, has previously described him as “very strong” and “fast”.

Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani has said that his teammate is “very quick and strong”, adding that he struggles to cope with him in training.

Osimhen is a goal machine. The Nigerian has scored seven goals and given two assists in 11 Serie A starts this season.

Last season, Osimhen scored 26 goals and provided four assists in 30 Serie A starts. Napoli won the Scudetto.
