Jurrien Timber now sends one-word message to £14m striker Arsenal are interested in
It seems as if Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber has now been playing a role as scout in the club’s pursuit of a new striker.
Although Mikel Arteta’s side romped home to a 5-0 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday, there’s still the feeling that there’s work to be done.

Despite playing brilliantly in general, it seemed as if Gabriel Jesus was desperate to get on the scoresheet, he was even forcing things towards the end of the game.
It can’t be easy being an Arsenal striker right now with the constant noise about the club not having an out-and-out goalscorer.
That being said, many fans consider that to be an issue that can only be solved in the transfer market.
Perhaps many would like to see Eddie Nketiah swap positions with a profile akin to an Ivan Toney.
However, it seems as if Arsenal are casting their net a lot wider in their pursuit of a new front man.

And it was recently reported that the club are watching £14m Ajax striker Brian Brobbey who’s been impressing back in The Netherlands.
Brobbey now has 13 goals in 25 games for Ajax across all competitions this season, leading to interest from Manchester United as well.

Brobbey’s latest two goals came in Ajax’s 4-1 win over RKC Waalwijk in the league yesterday.
And following the game, Timber was quick to congratulate his compatriot Brobbey on Instagram.

Timber shared Brobbey’s post on his story after the game adding a caption of: ‘TOPPP.’
And without jumping to conclusions, it would certainly seem that Timber would be happy if Brobbey was the next striker to rock up at Arsenal.
That being said, some fans may feel that Arsenal should be aiming higher than the 21-year-old be it this month or in the summer.
Yes, Brobbey clearly has talent and potential, but so does Eddie Nketiah.
There’s little reason to believe that Brobbey would represent an upgrade on the Englishman.
In truth, many may expect that Nketiah would have an even better record than Brobbey were he playing for Ajax.
Arsenal aren’t desperate for a new signing, rather, they’re looking for the elite goalscorer who can propel their ambitions.
And as Alan Shearer pointed out yesterday, a deal for Ivan Toney is becoming harder and harder to resist.
