Former Leeds Player who has been Pleased with to return back to the club will now likely join a bigger Club in Saudi Arabia instead

Raphinha, the former Leeds United standout, is reportedly the target of a significant transfer bid from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal. The 27-year-old winger, who played a pivotal role in keeping Leeds United in the Premier League during the 2022 season, has since made a name for himself at Barcelona. Over 78 appearances for the Spanish club, he has contributed 15 goals and 22 assists, attracting attention from clubs around the world.

Al-Hilal, known for its ambitious signings from European leagues, has reportedly made an offer exceeding €80 million for Raphinha, with indications that they might be willing to increase this to €100 million to secure the Brazilian international’s services. This move comes as Barcelona faces well-documented financial challenges, which might make such a lucrative offer hard to refuse.

Should the transfer proceed, Raphinha would join a roster of high-profile players at Al-Hilal, including Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, Sergej Milinković-Savić, and fellow Brazilian Malcom. This potential move underscores the increasing trend of Saudi Arabian clubs attracting top talent from Europe.
