BREAKING bad news for Everton as Key player is now injured and will not face Bournemouth.

Andre Gomes, the Everton midfielder, is set to miss the upcoming match against Bournemouth on March 30 due to a persistent calf injury, as reported by Dr. Rajpal Brar. Despite his efforts to return to full fitness, Gomes experienced a setback during training, which has hampered his recovery process.

Dr. Brar, a renowned Physical Therapy specialist and Sports Scientist, shared insights with Goodison News, indicating that Gomes’s limited playtime this season is a clear indicator of his ongoing struggle with the calf issue. Having started only one Premier League game throughout the campaign, his readiness for a full 90-minute appearance remains doubtful.

“Gomes’s calf injury has been a continuous concern, and he recently had to stop training preemptively after feeling discomfort,” Dr. Brar explained. “His inability to complete a full match signals that he’s not yet fully recovered, and it will take several substitute appearances to gradually build up his match fitness.”

Given the circumstances, it appears unlikely that Gomes will be considered for a starting position in the near future. The 30-year-old midfielder has accumulated just 197 minutes of Premier League action this season, further complicating his situation at Everton, where he is among the highest earners. With his contract set to expire at the end of the season and no signs of an extension, Gomes’s future at Goodison Park seems uncertain.

As Everton navigates through a challenging season under Sean Dyche’s management, the club is reportedly already exploring options for the summer transfer window, including potential signings to bolster the squad.
