Brenden Aaronson, currently on loan from Leeds United to Union Berlin, has expressed his desire to make his move to the Bundesliga side permanent. In an interview with Get Football News Germany, Aaronson praised Union Berlin, calling it an “amazing family club” and acknowledging the possibility of staying. He stated, “I can see myself remaining here. The club is amazing. It’s not up to me at the end of the day but I have so much respect for Union, the way it has been built, the staff, it’s an amazing family club and they’ve done an amazing job.”
Aaronson also mentioned his attention to Leeds’ performance this season, encouraging them to continue their push for promotion. “I’ve been paying close attention to Leeds, I know a lot of the guys, I get on with a lot of them, they are good guys. I’ve been paying attention because they’ve been having a fantastic season so it’s been great to watch. They just need to keep pushing because they’ve got good things coming their way at the end of the season,” he said.
As the summer transfer window approaches, several Leeds players out on loan have become targets for permanent moves. Diego Llorente’s contract includes a £4.2 million buyout option, suggesting a likely permanent move to Roma. Rasmus Kristensen’s future seems more inclined towards staying at Elland Road, while Max Wober is expected to transfer permanently to Borussia Monchengladbach. However, financial issues at Monchengladbach could prolong negotiations into the summer.
