Tottenham forward Richarlison has sent a two-word message about Everton on Instagram today.

The Brazilian departed Goodison Park in the summer of 2022 for a fee believed to be in the region of £60million.

He has found his feet in North London, and the deal appears to have been best for all concerned. Nevertheless, the Brazilian still has a soft spot for the Toffees and posted a photo on his Instagram story on Friday.

The 26-year-old shared a photo of himself alongside Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman with the words “the kings” written underneath.

It’s not the first time the former Toffee has sent messages relating to his former employers.

What else has Richarlison said about Everton since his move to Tottenham?
After recently opening up on his depression after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Richarlison revealed how therapy had helped him.

Evertonians were unsurprisingly sympathetic to their former striker, and he was quick to express his gratitude.

After the outpouring of support, he took the X to write: “Thanks for always be there for me. Lots of love for all Evertonians.”

Furthermore, after scoring against the Toffees earlier in the season, he was quick to moot any celebrations out of respect for his former employers.

Despite his departure from Goodison Park, the Brazilian will always be loved on Merseyside. His admiration for the club is still abundantly clear, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him return in the future.

He was also lauded back in the 2022/23 season after a banner of Everton legends was revealed before Tottenham’s visit to Goodison Park, which Richarlison missed through injury.

“Not even in my wildest dreams did I imagine receiving this kind of tribute,” he explained [via The Liverpool Echo].

“Even playing in a rival and giving all my blood for the Spurs shirt, it’s impossible not to feel happy and grateful. It’s the recognition I strive for everywhere I go. And I’m going to do it here, too. Thank you, Toffees!”
