Everton were crushed 6-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday 15 April to leave everyone more than frightened of relegation.

Despite the recent win over Burnley at Goodison Park, a further two-point deduction has now left the Toffees only two points above the bottom three.

Fans are slowly starting to turn on Sean Dyche and after the latest drubbing in London, an easy decision could be made on him being sacked.

Coming out after the game and admitting that his players simply did not work hard enough and let Chelsea play through them was a damning statement.

When players aren’t playing for the shirt or the manager with the passion it demands, that is a worrying sign, to say the least.

James Tarkowski even came out after the match to admit that he was embarrassed, not what fans want in the middle of a relegation battle.

With a huge game against Nottingham Forest coming up at Goodison Park, Dyche is hanging on by a thread and if it doesn’t happen before, a defeat in that one could seal his fate.
