Everton want to sign Leicester
Everton want to sign Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi this summer when his contract expires at the end of the season, according to Tutto Juve.

Writing on their website (18 April), the news outlet report that the Nigeria international is set to become available on a free transfer and is attracting interest from a number of clubs including the Toffees.

Juventus, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Sevilla, Getafe and Fenerbahce are also credited with an interest in the 27-year-old defensive midfielder, who has made 192 appearances in England’s top flight during his career.

Wilfred Ndidi would be a perfect Everton signing
The summer window at Goodison Park looks certain to be a bit of a crazy one, with several exits expected due to the financial situation at the club.

There are a host of senior players out of contract at the end of the season too, including Senegal international Idrissa Gueye who plays in a similar position and style to Ndidi.

Gueye is also much older and his performances have dwindled this season, while Ndidi been a key component of Leicester’s push for promotion in the Championship and is clearly ready to return to the Premier League.

Should Everton avoid relegation, which will be a huge struggle as things currently stand, then Ndidi would be the perfect profile of signing for the club to target as they enter this new era.

With no transfer fee and relatively modest wages coming from the Championship, it would be an upgrade to the squad and would be a good start for Dyche to start rebuilding from.
