According to SportBILD, Leeds, Lazio, and Roma have expressed interest in the 21-year-old, who is expected to leave Leverkusen at the end of the season.
Hlozek joined Leverkusen two years ago from Sparta Prague but has failed to break into Xabi Alonso’s plans. Alonso is expected to oversee a busy summer of transfers as Leverkusen look to build a squad capable of competing in the Champions League.
Interestingly, Leeds United forward Crysencio Summerville could be part of a potential deal to bring Hlozek to Elland Road. Summerville has been in impressive form this season, scoring 19 goals and earning himself a reputation as one of the hottest properties outside of the Premier League.
It’s unclear whether Leeds would be willing to let Summerville go, but the report suggests that he could be used as a makeweight in a deal to sign Hlozek. Summerville has a contract with Leeds until 2026 and has been linked with several Premier League and European clubs.
Leeds United fans will be hoping that Summerville remains at the club, but the possibility of signing Hlozek could be an attractive one. Hlozek has already shown his potential in the Bundesliga and could be a valuable addition to Leeds’ squad as they look to build on their promotion to the Premier League.
