Everton Eye Bargain Deal for £30,000-a-week Ace as Transfer Window Looms

As the Premier League season comes to a close, Everton are already turning their attention to the summer transfer window. With their top-flight safety secured, the Toffees are reportedly eyeing a bargain deal for Sean Dyche to boost his side’s attacking options.

According to TeamTalk, Everton are interested in signing Che Adams, who has rejected offers from Southampton to renew his £30,000-a-week contract. With his current deal set to expire this summer, Adams is now certain to leave the Saints for nothing, and Everton are looking to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United to his signature.

Adams, a Scotland international, has had Premier League experience before starring in the Championship for Southampton. He would be an ideal upgrade on Beto, who has struggled since arriving at Goodison Park last summer. The 27-year-old has scored just five goals in 36 appearances, and Adams could finally unlock the best form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin once more.

Forming a strike partnership with Calvert-Lewin could be the key to moving Everton away from relegation trouble and towards the Premier League’s top half. Adams has already shown signs of thriving where Beto has failed, with 16 goals and three assists in the Championship this season.

The Scotland international has also outperformed his expected goals, whilst Beto has struggled in front of goal with almost three less goals than expected. It’s the type of difference in finishing that could finally drag Everton away from relegation fears.

Adams has been described as “fantastic” by former manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, and is primed to make a Premier League return. Everton will just be hoping that Goodison Park is his next destination.

The Toffees could secure a bargain deal for Adams, who would avoid handing them any financial ailment. His arrival would be perfectly timed, as Everton look to strengthen their squad without breaking the bank.

However, Everton’s financial situation is a concern, and they may be forced to show the door to the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana in big-money departures. The 777 Partners empire continues to implode, with a judge suspending the group’s control of Vasco de Gama.

Without the arrival of new owners, Everton may be left with no choice but to be wise when it comes to incomings this summer. Bargains will be the name of the game for those at Goodison Park, and Adams could be the perfect addition to Dyche’s squad.

The Toffees may also be forced to sell £100,000-a-week star in “sacrifice” to keep Branthwaite. Meanwhile, Dyche can form Barnes & Wood 2.0 by signing star who’s terrorised Everton.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Everton will be hoping to secure a bargain deal for Adams and avoid any financial ailments. With their Premier League safety secured, the Toffees can now focus on strengthening their squad and moving away from relegation trouble.
