Deal Close: Sean Dyche will be very happy as Everton is closing in on signing world-class striker this summer, here is he?

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Luton Town striker Elijah Adebayo, who has impressed in the Premier League this season with 10 goals in 27 appearances. According to TEAMtalk, Everton manager Sean Dyche is a big admirer of the 26-year-old and believes he would be a perfect fit for his team.

Adebayo’s physical presence and goal-scoring ability make him an attractive option for Everton, who have struggled for goals this season. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has shown good form in recent weeks, but Dyche is keen to add more firepower to his squad and Adebayo could provide competition for the striker.

Everton are expected to step up negotiations with Calvert-Lewin in the coming weeks to extend his contract, which expires in 12 months. However, Dyche is also looking to bring in another striker to compete with Calvert-Lewin and Beto, who has shown flashes of good form this season.

Adebayo’s signing would allow Dyche to sanction a loan exit for young prospect Youssef Chermiti, who is highly rated at Everton but needs consistent minutes to develop. However, Everton must be shrewd in the summer window and may need to sell players to avoid breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

One big exit is expected before the club submits their accounts for this season on June 30th, with centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite and midfielder Amadou Onana the players most in demand.
