Monday Morning Transfer news: Everton Strongest Lineup for NEXT SEASON if they sign all their transfer targets

Everton’s upcoming season is shrouded in uncertainty due to financial constraints, but the club is hopeful of strengthening their squad despite these challenges. Several players have been linked to the Toffees, and if these transfer rumors materialize, Everton’s starting lineup could undergo a significant transformation.

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, coming off his best season at the club, would retain his position between the sticks. At right-back, Yukinari Sugawara, an experienced and attack-minded defender, could join from Holland for a bargain price of less than £10 million. Sugawara’s impressive performances in the Eredivisie and his regular starts for Japan make him an attractive option for Everton.

In central defense, James Tarkowski, a rock at the back for two consecutive seasons, would partner Jarrad Branthwaite, a highly-rated young defender. While Tarkowski is a target for multiple clubs, Everton is holding firm on his hefty price tag, hoping to raise funds from other areas.

The left-back position could be filled by Chelsea’s Ian Maatsen, a talented young defender who has impressed on loan at Coventry City. Maatsen’s arrival would provide much-needed competition and depth in the full-back department.

In midfield, the Toffees could welcome Leeds United’s Tyler Adams, a dynamic and energetic player who has been a standout performer in the Premier League. Adams would join forces with Abdoulaye Doucouré, a tireless and skilled midfielder who has been a mainstay in Everton’s engine room.

Further up the pitch, the attacking trio could consist of Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic, a pacey and skillful winger, Leeds United’s Jack Harrison, a creative and hardworking attacking midfielder, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, a clinical and physical striker. Pulisic’s arrival would add a new dimension to Everton’s attack, while Harrison’s creativity and Calvert-Lewin’s finishing ability would make them a formidable front three.

While these transfer rumors are promising, Everton’s financial situation means that not all of these deals are guaranteed to materialize. However, if the Toffees can pull off
