The signing of Kilman has bolstered West Ham’s defense, but Lopetegui still needs to address other areas of the team. The club has been linked with a move for Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson, and are also interested in signing a new central midfielder, with Lucas Paqueta’s future uncertain.West Ham’s need for reinforcements is clear, with the team inherited by Lopetegui from David Moyes in need of significant rebuilding. The club has already signed three players this summer, but more recruits are needed to strengthen the squad.
