Daniel Farke is doing all he can to keep player but players has already have PRIVATE meeting with another club to leave Leeds United and……..

Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier has emerged as a transfer target for Marseille, with the Ligue 1 outfit reportedly working on a deal to secure his signature. According to L’Equipe, Meslier is one of four goalkeepers on Marseille’s radar, alongside Lens’ Brice Samba, Villarreal’s Filip Jorgensen, and Las Palmas’ Alvaro Valles.

Meslier, 24, has been identified as a potential replacement for Pau Lopez, who is in talks to join Serie A side Como. The French goalkeeper has already held initial private talks with Marseille and is understood to be enthusiastic about the possibility of joining the Stade Velodrome outfit this summer.

However, Leeds United boss Daniel Farke may face a battle to keep Meslier at Elland Road, as the goalkeeper is tempted by the prospect of joining Marseille. Meslier has a release clause in his contract, which could facilitate a move to the Ligue 1 giants.

Meslier joined Leeds from Lorient in 2019 and has since established himself as a key player for the Whites, keeping 51 clean sheets in 175 appearances. His impressive form has attracted attention from several clubs, including Marseille, who are now actively pursuing a deal to sign him.

The potential departure of Meslier could be a significant blow to Leeds United, who are already bracing themselves for the potential loss of winger Crysencio Summerville. The Dutchman has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, with journalist Ben Jacobs suggesting that Summerville is likely to have alternatives by the end of the transfer window.

Summerville’s future at Leeds is uncertain, with the Whites expected to bring in a new forward if the Dutchman departs Elland Road before the transfer window shuts. The 22-year-old was instrumental in Leeds’ promotion push last season, contributing to 31 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions.

As the transfer window heats up, Leeds United faces a potentially pivotal summer in the transfer market. The Whites are already bracing themselves for the potential loss of two key players, with Meslier and Summerville both linked with moves away from Elland Road.
