“GOOD MOVE” Everton makes BOLD transfer claim to sign of the BEST YOUNGsters from the past 4 years from Manchester City, he may be like Cole Palmer to Chelsea transfer

Everton Football Club has expressed interest in signing Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips, according to sources. With Amadou Onana poised to join Aston Villa, the Merseyside club is eager to fill the defensive midfield void.

He will be a great addition to Everton, just luke the same way Cole Palmer was not getting playing time but later went to Chelsea becoming a superstar

Manchester City is willing to offload Phillips, who joined the club from Leeds United for £42million in 2022. Although Everton has yet to make a formal offer, manager Sean Dyche and recruitment chief Kevin Thelwell are keen to revive Phillips’ career after a disappointing loan spell at West Ham. Dyche prefers a proven Premier League performer who can slot into the starting eleven.

Phillips and Onana are different types of defensive midfielders, but both are capable of making a significant impact for Everton. At Leeds United, Phillips was instrumental in the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2020-21. He made 214 league appearances for Leeds United before moving to Manchester City. However, Phillips has struggled to establish himself in the starting XI at City. He played a crucial role in England’s Euro 2020 campaign, helping the team reach the final.

Everton is also considering a move for Leeds United winger Wilfried Gnonto. The Toffees are looking to strengthen their squad after a disappointing season.
