Farke acknowledged that the loss of Archie Gray and Glen Kamara has left Leeds short in midfield, and while Joe Rothwell’s arrival has added quality, he is not a like-for-like replacement for Kamara. Farke is determined to bring in another midfielder who can provide goals, ball-carrying ability, and quality set-pieces.
In addition to midfield, Farke is also looking to strengthen at full-back, where Leeds have lost Connor Roberts, Gray, and Jamie Shackleton. The signing of Jayden Bogle has addressed the right-back position, but Farke believes another full-back is needed to provide depth and competition.
Farke emphasized that any new signings must meet specific criteria, including quality, personality, and affordability. He is willing to wait until the end of the transfer window to ensure that the right players are brought in.
