“A perfect solution and….” Everton man, CONFIRMS that a perfect solution for club is to complete £100M Deal, he is a very EXCITING Striker available in THE MARKET

Chelsea’s Pursuit of Victor Osimhen: A “Perfect” Solution?

Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness has weighed in on Chelsea’s transfer negotiations, suggesting that a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen could be the “perfect” solution for the Blues. Wyness, who now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs, believes that Chelsea could offer Lukaku plus £70 million to Napoli in exchange for Osimhen’s services.

The Nigerian striker has been linked with a move away from Napoli this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain also interested in his signature. However, Wyness believes that Osimhen’s release clause of £110 million makes him a valuable asset worth pursuing.

“Osimhen is a very exciting player, I’ve watched a lot of him in Italy,” Wyness said on the Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast. “I’ve been hearing that Lukaku to Napoli could be the makeweight to get Osimhen to Chelsea. I’d been hoping he would come to the Premier League, I’m very excited to see how he does.”

Wyness’ comments come as Chelsea continues to negotiate with Napoli over a potential deal for Osimhen. The Blues have been linked with several strikers this summer, but Osimhen’s pace, skill, and goal-scoring ability make him an attractive target.

Lukaku, on the other hand, has fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge under Thomas Tuchel and has spent the last two seasons on loan in Italy. Wyness believes that Lukaku’s valuation of £40 million, combined with £70 million, could be enough to meet Osimhen’s release clause.

“If you’re valuing Lukaku at £40 million then that would leave a gap of £70 million to the break clause, but he’s worth the money,” Wyness said. “Chelsea would do very well to get him. He’s one of the players who will keep eyeballs on the Premier League because people want to see him.”

The potential swap deal highlights the complex nature of modern transfer negotiations. With multiple clubs and players involved, the deal would require careful negotiation and planning to come to fruition.

However, if successful, the deal could prove to be a coup for Chelsea. Osimhen’s arrival would provide a much-needed boost to the Blues’ attacking options, while Lukaku’s departure would allow the club to recoup some of the £97.5 million they paid for him in 2017.

As the transfer window continues to heat up, Chelsea fans will be keeping a close eye on developments. With several key players linked with moves away from the club, it’s shaping up to be an interesting few weeks for the Blues.

In conclusion, Keith Wyness’ comments highlight the potential for a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen.
