West Ham about to seal Top Defender’s deal, player ready to join the club… Transfer expert reveals what West Ham should do before completing the deal.

West Ham United are pushing to sign Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka before the end of the transfer window. However, the deal is being held up by Wan-Bissaka’s request for a pay-off from Manchester United.

Transfer expert Alex Crook compared the situation to last year’s failed transfer of Harry Maguire to West Ham. Maguire had requested a wage top-up from Manchester United, which they refused, leading to the transfer falling through. Crook wonders if Manchester United will be willing to meet Wan-Bissaka’s request, given their previous stance with Maguire.

West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui is keen to strengthen his defensive ranks, having already signed Max Kilman from Wolves. Signing Wan-Bissaka would be a significant addition, but the deal hinges on Manchester United’s willingness to compromise on the pay-off.

In other West Ham news, the club has signed Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund, but their stance on a deal for Jhon Duran remains unclear.
