Deal 100% Done: Celtic Best Attacking Lineup for Next Season when They Complete the signing of their own Lionel Messi, Adam Idah

Celtic FC is closing in on signing their own Lionel Messi, with Adam Idah set to join the team permanently and wonderkid Facundo Buonanotte potentially arriving on loan. Manager Brendan Rodgers is still looking to bolster his attacking options, despite already making three signings this summer.

Idah, who scored nine goals in 19 games during his loan spell at Celtic last season, is expected to finalize a permanent deal with the Scottish champions. The 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international has been negotiating with Norwich City throughout the summer.

Meanwhile, Celtic is leading the race to sign Brighton and Hove Albion’s young talent, Facundo Buonanotte, on loan. The 19-year-old Argentine international has been dubbed the “new Messi” by his former Rosario Central manager Carlos Tevez, who praised his skills and compared him to the legendary Lionel Messi.

Celtic is also interested in signing St Patrick’s Athletic’s 16-year-old wonderkid, Mason Melia. The Irish teenager has turned heads with his performances in the League of Ireland and has already donned the Republic of Ireland jersey at U19 level.

Additionally, Celtic has expressed interest in Royal Antwerp’s left winger Michel-Ange Balikwisha, but negotiations seem to have hit a roadblock due to the player’s injury.

Rodgers is keen to craft his ideal Celtic frontline, and with three weeks left of the transfer window, the Scottish champions are expected to make more signings to bolster their attacking options.
