After losing woefully to Brighton, Everton now int3nsifies pursuit to COMPLETE DEAL to sign world-class striker to replace UNDERPERFORMING Dominic, he seems to be the MISSING PIECE in Daniel Farke’s squad

Everton’s pursuit of Barcelona forward Vitor Roque is gaining momentum, but the Toffees have yet to submit a formal bid for the 19-year-old Brazilian. Despite this, Roque’s future at the Nou Camp is “heating up,” according to Spanish source Sport 45.

Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, recently held a summit to accelerate talks with various clubs interested in signing Roque. Sporting CP, in particular, is optimistic about securing a deal for the talented youngster. The Portuguese side is keen to add Roque to their squad, and Barcelona hopes to resolve the forward’s future by next week.

Everton manager Sean Dyche is eager to strengthen his forward line, which struggled to find the back of the net last season. The Toffees scored the second-fewest goals in the Premier League, with only Sheffield United netting fewer. Roque’s addition could bring a new dimension to Everton’s attack, but it appears they may miss out on his signature.

Roque has made just 16 appearances for Barcelona since joining in January, with only two starts in La Liga. Despite this limited playing time, he has managed to score twice, showcasing his potential. His move to Spain has been far from ideal, but he remains one of the most exciting talents to emerge from Brazil in recent seasons.

Everton’s forward line currently consists of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Beto, Jesper Lindstrom, and Iliman Ndiaye. While Dyche will be pleased with his options, adding another attacker would enhance their chances of success in the upcoming season. Roque’s pace, skill, and finishing ability would make him an excellent addition to the Toffees’ squad.

However, Sporting CP’s interest in Roque may prove to be a significant obstacle for Everton. The Portuguese side is confident in securing a deal, which could leave the Toffees empty-handed. Dyche will need to explore alternative options to bolster his attack if Roque joins Sporting CP.

In other Everton news, the Toffees have joined the race to sign Jens Hjerto-Dahl, a promising young talent. As the transfer window approaches its final days, Everton will need to act swiftly to secure their targets and strengthen their squad for the new season.
