BREAKING: PLAYER that Celtic is so desperate to sign has REJECTED celtic and likely to join a club less than Celtic

As the transfer window nears its end, Celtic fans are growing increasingly anxious to see the team strengthen its squad. With the new season underway, it’s clear that the Hoops need to bring in some fresh talent to compete with their rivals. However, they’re also concerned about losing top players like Matt O’Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi, who are attracting interest from other clubs.

One player who has been linked to Celtic is Manchester United’s Hannibal Mejbri. The 21-year-old Tunisian international has struggled to break into United’s first team, making just 13 appearances since joining in 2019 for £9.3m. Despite his limited playing time, Mejbri has gained valuable experience on loan at Birmingham and Sevilla, showcasing his versatility as an attacking midfielder, winger, and holding midfielder.

Mejbri’s ability to play in various positions could make him an attractive signing for Celtic, who are looking to bolster their midfield options. Additionally, his £15,000 weekly wages wouldn’t be an issue for the Scottish giants. However, it seems that Mejbri is more likely to stay in England, with Championship clubs Burnley and Leeds reportedly interested in signing him.

According to Graeme Bailey, Strategic & Operational Head of Football for HITC & TBR, “Only heard interest [from Celtic] – think a move to the Championship is most likely… Burnley favourites but Leeds in for him too.” This suggests that Mejbri is more likely to join Burnley or Leeds than Celtic before the transfer deadline.

While Celtic fans may be disappointed to miss out on Mejbri, they’ll be hoping that the club can bring in some other quality signings before the window closes. With time running out, the pressure is on the Hoops to strengthen their squad and make a push for domestic and European success.
