STAR who left Leeds United after many ATTEMPTS by Leeds to keep him sends cryptic post just weeks after leaving Leeds for West Ham

Crysencio Summerville, the 22-year-old Dutch winger who joined West Ham United from Leeds United for £26m, has sent a cryptic post on Instagram. The message, “If God is making you wait, then be prepared to receive more than you asked for. God’s plan,” suggests that Summerville is patiently waiting for his opportunity to shine at West Ham.

Summerville has yet to start a game for West Ham, coming on as a substitute in the season opener against Aston Villa and not featuring at all in the win over Crystal Palace. However, his attitude towards the situation is positive, and he seems motivated to make an impact when his chance comes.

West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui has preferred Mohammed Kudus on the left wing so far, but Summerville’s patience and dedication may eventually lead to his inclusion in the starting lineup. The Carabao Cup match against Bournemouth this week could provide an opportunity for Summerville to showcase his skills.

Summerville’s departure from Leeds was inevitable after they failed to secure promotion to the Premier League, and West Ham won the race for his signature. The transfer fee was shrouded in mystery, with Leeds requesting a non-disclosure agreement, but a top Hammers board source revealed that Summerville had a £25m release clause that could only be activated if paid in one go
