HOT – After BACKLASH of celtic board by Rodgers, Celtic takes VERY SMART step in the window as they submit bid for two world-class player, to join Celtic before friday

Celtic FC has reportedly submitted bids for two players, Sheffield United defender Auston Trusty and former Leeds United prospect Mateusz Bogusz, according to Football Insider.

Trusty, a USA international, joined Sheffield United from Arsenal last year and made a permanent move to Bramall Lane following an impressive loan spell at Birmingham City. However, he was unable to prevent the Blades from slipping back into the Championship at the end of his maiden campaign.

Celtic has tabled a £5m offer for Trusty as they look to bolster their defensive ranks. Sheffield United is believed to be reluctant to sell, but Celtic is pushing hard to recruit the 25-year-old defender.

Bogusz, a former Poland youth international, has been enhancing his reputation stateside with Los Angeles FC. He spent four years on the books at Elland Road but failed to establish himself at senior level. Celtic has tabled a formal bid for Bogusz, with talks between the two clubs believed to be underway.

Celtic’s bids for Trusty and Bogusz come after the sale of star midfielder Matt O’Riley to Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion. The sale has significantly boosted Celtic’s coffers, allowing them to pursue new signings.

The signing of Trusty would provide Celtic with a strong and experienced defender, while Bogusz would add depth and creativity to the team’s midfield.

Celtic’s manager, Brendan Rodgers, is keen to strengthen his squad before the transfer deadline and is believed to be working hard to secure the signings of Trusty and Bogusz.

The transfer window is set to close soon, and Celtic is expected to make a few more signings to bolster their squad. The Scottish champions are keen to build on last season’s success and make a push for the Champions League.

Overall, the signing of Trusty and Bogusz would be a significant boost for Celtic, and the team is expected to make a strong push for the title this season.
