“Celtic’s Loss” – Celtic’s Flop that Brendan Rodgers sold is now OUTSCORING Kyogo Furuhashi.

Celtic’s £5m signing Albian Ajeti, who was sold by Brendan Rodgers last year, is currently outscoring Kyogo Furuhashi this season. Ajeti, who plays for Swiss giants Basel, has scored four goals and provided three assists in six league appearances, while Kyogo has scored one goal and provided one assist in four league appearances.

Ajeti’s impressive start to the season comes after a difficult few years at West Ham, Celtic, and Gaziantep. He was signed by Celtic in 2020 for £5m but failed to live up to his price tag, scoring just six goals in 30 appearances. He was eventually sold to Gaziantep for £500k before joining Basel on a free transfer.

Kyogo, on the other hand, has struggled to replicate his form from last season, scoring 14 goals in 38 appearances compared to 27 goals in 31 appearances the previous season. Despite this, he remains Celtic’s first-choice centre-forward.

It will be interesting to see how Ajeti and Kyogo compare by the end of the season, and if Ajeti can continue his fine form.
