“It’s a SNATCH” – Top club now interested in West Ham’s main target for the squad’s defense. Contract talks now ongoing.

RSC Anderlecht is interested in signing French defender Oumar Solet on a free transfer. Solet, 24, is a free agent after his contract with RB Salzburg was mutually terminated. He was previously linked with West Ham United, Liverpool, and Manchester United.

Anderlecht’s interest in Solet comes after an injury to former Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen. The Belgian side is assessing the extent of Vertonghen’s injury and may accelerate a deal to sign Solet, with contacts already established with his representatives.

Solet underwent a medical with Hoffenheim in the summer transfer window, but the move collapsed due to him failing the medical. He is now being considered by Anderlecht as a potential replacement for Vertonghen.
