“I Can NEVER Play for Another English Club…” Former Hammers REVEALS His Strong Attachment to West Ham and Why He Will Never Play for Another English Club….

Pablo Fornals Reveals Emotional Farewell to West Ham United

Pablo Fornals, the former West Ham United midfielder, has opened up about his emotional departure from the club earlier this year. In an interview with The Athletic’s Roshane Thomas, Fornals shared the heartwarming moment when David Moyes, his former manager, paid tribute to him in front of the entire team.

Fornals, who spent four-and-a-half years at West Ham, making over 200 appearances, had requested to be included in the squad for the 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth, but the club decided against it. Despite this, Moyes still honored Fornals’ dedication to the team with a poignant speech.

“I was really emotional because the manager did a beautiful speech about me in front of everyone,” Fornals recalled. “It’s something I will never forget. The manager didn’t want me to leave, but knew I wanted to play. Although he wasn’t able to play me week in, week out, that speech made me realize how proud he was of what I’d done and the love he had for me as a person.”

Fornals admitted that Moyes’ words brought him to tears, and his teammates responded with a touching gesture, singing his chant and hugging him goodbye.

The Spanish midfielder has since joined Real Betis, but his affection for West Ham remains strong. Fornals has even recommended the club to new summer signings Carlos Soler and Guido Rodriguez, demonstrating his enduring connection to the Irons.

In fact, Fornals confessed that he cannot envision playing for another English club, even one of the Manchester giants. His bond with West Ham runs deep, and he cherishes the memories created during his time at the London Stadium.

Fornals’ wedding in Spain saw his former West Ham teammates sing his chant, a moment that solidified the club’s special place in his heart.

The midfielder’s departure marked the end of an era, but his legacy remains. Fornals’ dedication and passion epitomized the Moyes era at West Ham, which was characterized by players who gave their all for the team.

As West Ham continues to evolve under new manager Julen Lopetegui, Fornals’ heartfelt farewell serves as a reminder of the club’s ability to foster meaningful relationships between players, staff, and fans.

With Fornals now plying his trade in La Liga, West Ham supporters will fondly remember his contributions to the team’s success. His love for the club remains unwavering, and his influence continues to be felt, even from afar.
