    Leeds United Forward Jack Harrison Tipped to Return to Elland Road Amidst Difficult Loan Spell at Everton

    Leeds United forward Jack Harrison has been backed to return to Elland Road by Sky Sports journalist Dan Bardell, amidst a difficult loan spell at Everton. Harrison, who has been on loan at Goodison Park since the start of the 2023/24 season, has struggled to make an impact, scoring just four goals and providing three assists in 48 appearances across all competitions.

    The 27-year-old’s loan spell has been marred by inconsistency, and his lack of productivity has raised questions about his long-term future at Everton. With the Toffees facing financial restrictions, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to pursue a permanent transfer for Harrison.

    However, Bardell believes that Harrison could yet return to Leeds United and be a success at Elland Road. Speaking to MOT Leeds News, Bardell said: “The Leeds loan situation is unlike anything I’ve seen before. Big players have headed out on loan season upon season, some have come back like Aaronson but it was the nature of their purchase model a few years ago.

    “They were never going to be able to hold on to those players or sell them and recoup what they spent. Jack Harrison is a Premier League player, he won’t want to play in the Championship but I wouldn’t rule him out of playing for Leeds again.

    “If he does end up back at Leeds, he’s a good player and it wouldn’t be a bad thing for the club.” Bardell’s comments suggest that Harrison’s future at Leeds United is far from certain, but that he could yet return to the club and play a key role in their bid for promotion back to the Premier League.

    Leeds United currently sit top of the Championship table, and their promotion hopes are looking increasingly strong. If they are able to secure a return to the top flight, it could pave the way for Harrison’s return to Elland Road.
