“We will only sell him to Leeds United on one condition” Leeds United has their hands already on their BEST player target as club is willing to sell him to Leeds on one condition

Leeds United Transfer News: Whites Linked with £3.5m Attacking Midfielder

Leeds United have been linked with a move for Lausanne Sport attacking midfielder Alvyn Sanches, who has been valued at around £3.5 million. The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for the Swiss Super League side, contributing nine goals and three assists this term.

Sanches has expressed his desire to leave Switzerland and join an “intermediate club” that can provide him with a platform to showcase his skills before potentially moving to a bigger club. Leeds United, who have a history of developing young players, may fit the bill.

However, Lausanne Sport are keen to retain Sanches’ services until the summer, at least. The club’s sporting director, Stephane Henchoz, has stated that they will do everything in their power to keep Sanches, who has been an integral part of the team’s push for the Swiss Super League title.

“We will do everything to keep him,” Henchoz said. “We must convince him of the relevance of our sporting project. Alvyn will, of course, leave us to play in a major league [in the future]. But is doing it in January rather than June the most sensible thing?”

Leeds United may need to strengthen their attacking midfield options, with Brenden Aaronson being the only natural number ten in the squad. Sanches, who has been described as having “enormous creativity” by his former coach Sascha Stauch, could potentially fill this gap.

However, it remains to be seen whether Leeds United will be able to agree a deal with Lausanne Sport for Sanches’ signature. The Swiss club are likely to demand a significant fee for the attacking midfielder, who has been linked with several other clubs across Europe.
