Done Deal: Celtic CONFIRMS transfer of two players, ANOTHER transfer soon

Celtic has sanctioned two departures and is expected to see another player leave the club soon. Stephen Welsh has joined KV Mechelen on loan for the remainder of the campaign, while Lenny Agbaire has linked up with Scott Brown at Ayr United.

Alexandro Bernabei’s impending Celtic exit to Internacional is also nearing completion. According to ESPN Brazil, an agreement has been reached that will see the Argentinian arrive in Porto Alegre early next week to undergo a medical and complete his long-awaited move.

The deal is reportedly worth €4.5 million (£3.7 million) with an added bonus of €500,000 (£418,000) included. Bernabei made 25 appearances for Internacional during his loan spell, scoring three times and notching five assists.

In other news, the MLS has apologized for a bizarre sequence of events that falsely announced Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi as an Atlanta United player on their official website. The Japan international is still firmly at the Scottish Premiership champions and is expected to play a part in their trip to Ross County.

Odin Thiago Holm is moving to LAFC on loan, while Luis Palma is being heavily pursued on a similar basis by Rayo Vallecano. However, Celtic is reportedly reluctant to let Palma leave at this stage of the window.
