“I can’t understand why the referee on-field makes a decision and goes to the screen if it isn’t a clear and obvious error. I thought he made the correct decision at the time and should have stuck with it.”
The result leaves Everton a point above their opponents in 14th place, 14 points clear of the bottom three. United’s hopes of European qualification continue to fade, though, with the Red Devils now 14 points adrift of the top four.
