Arsenal could offer Everton four players in transfer swap for Amadou Onana

Arsenal is willing to offer Everton four players in exchange for Amadou Onana, according to reports. The Toffees midfielder has impressed in his first season in the Premier League, and Mikel Arteta is keen to add him to his squad.

However, Everton is hesitant to sell, and Arsenal may need to offer players in exchange to sweeten the deal.According to the Liverpool Echo, Arsenal made contact with Everton on the opening day of the transfer window, but the Toffees are holding out for a fee in the region of £50million.

While Arsenal is keen to sign Onana, they may need to offer players in exchange to reduce the fee.

Here are four players that Arsenal could offer to Everton in exchange for Onana:

Eddie NketiahEddie Nketiah’s time at Arsenal may be coming to an end, with the Gunners eyeing another forward signing to compete with the English striker, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus. Nketiah is thought to be available for a fee in the region of £30m, with several Premier League clubs interested. If Sean Dyche’s side is looking for another striker, Nketiah could be included in a deal for Onana

.Albert Sambi LokongaAlbert Sambi Lokonga has returned to Arsenal following an impressive season on loan at Luton, where he formed a strong partnership with Ross Barkley. However, with Onana potentially arriving at the Emirates, Lokonga may find himself surplus to requirements. Everton could use another body in midfield, and Lokonga could fill the void left by his Belgian compatriot.

Reiss NelsonReiss Nelson struggled for gametime last season, but the young winger could find a home at Everton. According to The Athletic, Nelson has informed Mikel Arteta and the club’s chiefs that he wants to leave this summer, with Arsenal looking for a fee in the region of £20m. Everton scored fewer league goals than all but one team last season, and Nelson’s pace and skill could be just what they need to improve their attack.

Kieran TierneyKieran Tierney spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad and his future at Arsenal appears to be over. With Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Jurrien Timber all ahead of him in the pecking order, Tierney may be available for transfer. Everton has used Vitalii Mykolenko, Ben Godfrey, and Ashley Young at left-back this season, but Tierney has proven himself to be a Champions League-quality full-back. If Arsenal includes Tierney in a deal for Onana, it could sweeten the deal for Everton.
