“Best transfer of the Summer” Everton has got a rare GEM in the transfer market and they only need to pay £12.6M and……

Everton manager Sean Dyche is keen to strengthen his squad this summer, and his sights are set on Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo. According to Mirko Di Natale, a journalist at Tutto Juve, the Toffees have made an approach for the Brazilian, who is available for a fee of £12.6million.

Arthur Melo’s potential arrival at Goodison Park would be a significant coup for Everton, given his impressive performances in Serie A last season. The 27-year-old scored six goals and provided six assists in just 33 appearances for Fiorentina, showcasing his attacking prowess.

While Arthur Melo’s primary position is defensive midfield, he has the versatility to play in various roles. Should Amadou Onana depart, Arthur would be a direct replacement, but he could also slot in alongside Onana or even fill the role currently occupied by Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Everton’s interest in Arthur Melo is not surprising, given his impressive skillset and experience in Italy. The Toffees have been linked to several midfielders this summer, but Arthur’s availability at a relatively affordable price makes him an attractive option.

Newcastle, Roma, and Napoli have also expressed interest in Arthur Melo, but Everton’s early move could give them an advantage in the race to sign him. Juventus, however, are holding out for a higher fee, reportedly valuing the midfielder at £15million.

Sean Dyche’s desire to add Arthur Melo to his squad is understandable, given the uncertainty surrounding Amadou Onana’s future. While Onana is expected to stay at Goodison Park for now, Barcelona’s interest in the Belgian midfielder could yet tempt him away. Arthur Melo’s arrival would provide a suitable replacement and add depth to Everton’s midfield.
