West Ham United have issued a response to claims about their bid for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran, confirming that the Colombian forward is indeed a target for the club. However, the Hammers have also revealed that Duran is not the only striker on their radar, with four targets currently being considered.

According to West Ham’s top spokesman, Duran is one of many strikers being looked at by the club, but journalist Graeme Bailey has named the four current striker targets as Duran, Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Chelsea outcast Armando Broja, and Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri.While Duran has been identified as a target, concerns have been raised about his attitude, with Bailey revealing that the player has a “real attitude” and that Villa manager Unai Emery wants him out. However, Bailey also believes that Duran is a talent worth considering.

West Ham have already submitted multiple bids for Duran, with the latest proposal worth around £35 million plus a 10% sell-on clause, according to Fabrizio Romano. Personal terms have also been agreed upon with the player, but negotiations are still ongoing.

The Hammers have been searching for a new striker since the departure of David Moyes, and the capture of Max Kilman has paved the way for a new forward to join the squad. With four targets currently being considered, West Ham fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new striker to bolster the team’s attack. In other news, West Ham have missed out on three targets in 24 hours, but four remain on the club’s radar. The Hammers are also facing competition from other clubs, including Chelsea and Spurs, for the signature of Duran.
