The transfer window is in full swing, and Everton is making moves to strengthen their squad. One player who has caught their eye is Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah. The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Goodison Park, but his future remains uncertain.
According to reports, Everton is increasingly interested in signing Nketiah, but Arsenal is unwilling to let him go without a fight. The Gunners are insisting on a £30 million transfer fee, which may be a stumbling block for the Toffees.
Nketiah has shown promise and potential in his career so far, scoring 38 goals in 168 appearances for Arsenal. He has also had a spell on loan at Leeds United, where he gained valuable experience. If given the opportunity to be a regular starter, Nketiah might break out and become a key player for Everton.
However, the Toffees have alternative options. Chelsea’s Armando Broja is believed to be keen on signing for Everton if given the opportunity. But this move is contingent on Dominic Calvert-Lewin staying at the club.
Calvert-Lewin’s future is also uncertain, with his contract status a major question mark for the rest of the transfer window. If a major bid comes in, Everton may be forced to consider selling their star striker.
Beto and Neal Maupay’s futures are also up in the air. Beto is wanted by Atalanta, while Maupay spent last season on loan at Brentford.
