Eagle-eyed supporters have been tracking a private jet that departed Los Angeles International Airport and is expected to arrive at Glasgow Airport late tonight. This has led to speculation that the 23-year-old Poland international is on his way to Parkhead to finalize his move.
Bogusz, valued at £8million, has been linked to Celtic for some time, and it appears that the deal is nearing completion. With personal terms not expected to be an issue, the only remaining hurdle is agreeing on a fee with LAFC.
If the transfer goes through, Bogusz would become Celtic’s fifth signing of the window and could potentially replace Matt O’Riley, who is closing in on a move to Brighton in the Premier League.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to bolster his midfield options, and Bogusz’s arrival would be a significant boost to the squad. The Poland international has impressed in the Leagues Cup semi-final, scoring in LAFC’s 4-0 win over Colorado Rapids.
