“I am not…..” Arteta warned by pained player after decision is to keep him aside because of favorite Raya pro drawing with Tottenham

Ramsdale’s situation at Arsenal has changed with the arrival of David Raya, and he is reportedly unhappy about losing his first-team place. Raya joined Arsenal from Brentford during the last transfer window and has taken over as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper.

Arsenal is determined to compete for the league title and aims to field the best players in every position to achieve that goal. Mikel Arteta views Raya’s arrival as a significant addition that can elevate the team’s performance, and he is willing to select the strongest option for each game.

If Raya continues to perform well, it is likely that he will remain as the starting goalkeeper, leaving Ramsdale as the second choice. Football Insider suggests that Ramsdale is already expressing his dissatisfaction with this situation, and it may prompt him to seek a solution sooner rather than later.

The competition for positions in the squad is common at top clubs, and players may need to evaluate their options and make decisions based on their career aspirations and playing time. Ramsdale’s future at Arsenal may hinge on how he and the club navigate this situation.

Just Arsenal Opinion

Ramsdale has been one of the finest goalkeepers in England over the years and delivers when he plays for us.

However, Raya seems to be a better goalie and we want the best man to win the battle for a place between them, which is what every club does.

All eye,s will be on who starts in goal for Arsenal later. Hope’s the gaffer would have already told the young Englishman he is the man.

Truly hoping this doesn’t become a circus.

Why would you prefer a young Englishman to a foreign goalkeeper whose stats and performances have been far better? I like Ramsdale but recognise that some of his performances have been a bit flakey with a number of poor decisions. He is a loveable showman but not a better keeper than Raya. As an old Englishman I would always go for reliability.

If Arsenal has been winning games in the Epl in past few weeks. Shouldn’t the disgruntled Aesenal supporters be sad or happy?
Theorem, let us Gooners rally round our beloved Arsenal tea,m tomorrow to win at the Ems the first of the NLD match of of this season
should
us know that it is Arteta”total rights to make the Gunners team match selection for a match. And. Who he will start or benched for the match is his prerogative?.

Raya, two games, two clean sheets something Ramsdale was struggling with one clean sheet in five. Raya will be playing tonight Arsenal will beat spurs 3-0 three games three clean sheets go gunners

I think it is logical to start Raya against spurs.

Arsenal plays from the back and spurs with their new manager and the new style of play, will not seat back.

They will press us, of which Raya seems to be more assured on the ball playing from the back compare with Ramsdale.

On the other hand, I feel the spurs will play into the hands of the gunners if they go all out to press and attack.

There is no sentiment in who plays. Ramsdale played 5 matches for arsenal and conceded four goals. David played two tough ones and gave us clean sheets. No silly errors, confidence in the post that helps on field players to move forward.
Why the complain. So far Daivid is a better goal keeper. Ramsdale displaced our former no 1 and we all agreed. Is it because he is an English player? If we need trophies, we go for the best. Performance on field not by

While Ramsdale has good saves in him, he has failed to eliminate errors in his game. Saliba and Mehgales has improved in terms of errors in their games.
I was shocked our keeper couldn’t win the golden glove last season despite our team winning a lot of games. The truth is that his positioning is very poor.
He is a good shot stopper and will improve. He needs the bench to cause a conscious effort to improve his concentration in games.
He is a very good keeper and should take his chance when it comes. I just want to see a fair competition in the goal keeping department. I would be sad to see Raya in goal if his form drops. At the moment putting Raya on goal is the right decision. Viera looked like the worse signing ever but he is doing well now. Our keeper should focus on improving, he’ll get a chance to play

The team and the club should always come before one individual player.
I suspect this is just another example of media imagination but if Ramsdale is disgruntled about the situation he should seek to move. It just doesn’t pay to stick around if you are unhappy.

All the talk about how unhappy Ramsdale is and how he is looking for a transfer is just bs !
Ramsdale is a professional and a team player and although in time if he can’t get the first choice nod he may leave that’s not the case right now AFC are a squad one for all and all for one the selfish i’m all right jack days of Ozil and co are long gone.

Far too early to say who is the best keeper. Yes Ramsdale has mistakes in him but we only know that because of how many games he’s played for us. Raya has played twice and hardly been tested especially against PSV with not one difficult stop to make. Who plays today is Arteta’s choice and it’s a difficult choice to make, in my opinion.
