Aston Villa Star John McGinn Refuses to Rule Out Future Celtic Move
Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn has sparked speculation about a potential future move to Celtic, after refusing to shut down talk of a transfer to the Scottish Premiership giants. McGinn, a lifelong Celtic fan, had been heavily linked with a move to the Hoops in the past, before ultimately joining Aston Villa.
In a recent interview with Premier Sports, McGinn addressed the speculation surrounding his future, stating: “The stories about that whole saga have grown arms and legs over the years and it winds me up. You never say never.” McGinn’s comments have inevitably led to renewed speculation about a potential move to Celtic, although it remains to be seen whether a transfer will materialize in the future.
Meanwhile, McGinn has also offered his assessment of Celtic’s Champions League opponents, Club Brugge. He praised the Belgian side’s organization and pace on the counter-attack, highlighting the threat posed by players such as Christos Tzolis and Ferran Jutgla. Despite this, McGinn believes that Celtic will prove too strong for Club Brugge at home, citing their impressive performance against Leipzig as evidence of their quality.
