Leeds United player Joe Gelhardt is reportedly set to leave the club on loan in the next 24 hours, with Hull City being the likely destination. Gelhardt has been afforded limited playing time this season, making only three appearances and one start.

According to Hull Daily Mail reporter Baz Cooper, Gelhardt’s exit is expected to be finalized soon, with Cooper stating that “loads [are] going on at Hull” and that Gelhardt’s move is one of several expected in the next day or so.

Gelhardt’s departure would leave Leeds United with only three striker options: Patrick Bamford, Joel Piroe, and Mateo Joseph. With Bamford currently injured, although not seriously, Leeds may need to consider bringing in another striker to bolster their squad.

Leeds has been linked with several strikers, including Hoffenheim’s Mergim Berisha, Aston Villa’s Louie Barry, and Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Dor Turgeman. However, it remains to be seen whether the club will make a move for any of these players.
