RANGERS FANS’ CONCERNS OVER DEREK McINNES LINK AS CELTIC TARGET RECEIVES £8M RIVAL OFFER

However, Ferguson also acknowledged that McInnes’ previous rejection of the job may be a stumbling block. “But he previously refused the job, and once you’ve done that it’s hard for supporters to get over it,” Ferguson said. “Ally McCoist got away with it, knocking Rangers back multiple times, but he turned out to be an absolute legend. McInnes would do a better job. But do I think it’ll happen? I don’t think so.”

Meanwhile, Celtic are facing competition for one of their top targets, Motherwell star Lennon Miller. The 18-year-old midfielder has been impressing for Motherwell, and Celtic are long-term admirers. However, French giants Lyon are also interested, and are reportedly ready to make an offer of £8m.

Miller has been in impressive form for Motherwell, contributing four goals and six assists in all competitions. His versatility has also caught the eye, with the midfielder able to play in attacking, central, and defensive midfield roles.
