‘Arsenal will be unstoppable if they sign him and Havertz’: Arteta told the beauty of signing player to partner with Havertz
Wow if they sign him & Declan Rice’: Liverpool-mad pundit reacts to double Arsenal transfer claim
Former Liverpool left-back Jose Enrique is impressed by the transfer rumours that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could sign Declan Rice from West Ham United and Kai Havertz from Chelsea.
After missing out on the Premier League title, Arsenal aren’t messing about in the transfer market, with the club looking to push a few big deals over the line.
There has been a lot of talk about Declan Rice, whilst many have been left surprised by the possibility that Kai Havertz could be joining Arsenal from Chelsea, but Liverpool-mad pundit Enrique, likes what he is hearing and he posted this message via his Instagram story about that possible double transfer swoop: “Wow if they are able to sign him and Rice,” said Enrique.
Fans divided over Havertz joining Arsenal
This one has got people talking because Havertz isn’t exactly in a great place, in terms of his form, not just this season, but going back to the previous campaign also.
Added to that, it seems as though Arsenal are going to pay a tad under £70 million for his talents, so that proves that those from within the four walls of the club are serious about the £150k-a-week player (Spotrac).
The same can’t be said for the supporters, who are divided and they are questioning why Arteta wants to bring in a player that might not even improve the club’s XI.
As Chelsea finished in the bottom-half, Havertz only managed to score seven Premier League goals, as he not only struggled for goals, but performances as well and trying to identify what type of role he should play out on the pitch.
Different feeling towards Rice
Whilst there is a lot of negative talks towards Havertz, the same can’t be said for Rice, who is a much-wanted man.
The West Ham United captain has been outstanding for the past two seasons, including helping the Hammers win the Europa Conference League this term.
The Arsenal fans are sending the vibes that they really want the hard-hitting midfielder to join the club, especially with talk that Thomas Partey could leave.
