Exclusive: Mikel Arteta ‘working hard’ to shift two Arsenal players this January, keen to strengthen in two areas
EXCLUSIVE: MIKEL ARTETA ‘WORKING HARD’ TO SHIFT TWO ARSENAL PLAYERS THIS JANUARY, KEEN TO STRENGTHEN IN TWO
HITC Football understands Arsenal are working hard to move Cedric Soares and Mohamed Elneny in the January window.
Cedric Soares and Mohamed Elneny have been told they will not be getting new contracts and with both their deals expiring in the summer, Arsenal are hoping both could move this summer.
The duo are deemed surplus to requirements by Mikel Arteta, who has been very quiet thus far in the transfer window.
This could be about to change if the pair are to leave the Emirates before the window slams shut.

European clubs interested in Cedric Soares and Mohamed Elneny
HITC Football understands that the duo have attracted interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia this month.
Trabzonspor and Besiktas have both talked to Elneny, whilst Galatasaray have looked at Soares – who could replace Sacha Boey, who is linked with a host of sides.
A move to the Pro League is also possible, but knowing they can leave for free in the summer – makes it difficult for Arsenal to force their exits.
What’s become apparent is these two do not have a future in North London. Obtaining even a small fee for each would be more beneficial for the Gunners in January.
This would mean they could also look at bolstering some positions of their own as they chase the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta wants to strengthen in two areas
HITC Football understands the Gunners themselves are looking to bolster their squad with a full-back and midfielder the options they are possibly looking at, but their task would be made easier by moving on some of their squad players.
Arteta will know more than anyone that a squad full of depth is essential in a title charge. If Arsenal are serious in their quest for Premier League glory this season, they must shift some of their unwanted players and bring in new recruits.
It will be interesting to see what materialises in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to HITC Football for all the latest transfer news.
