Everton v Chelsea: Doctor shares definitive Arnaut Danjuma injury update
Everton attacker Arnaut Danjuma will not be starting v Chelsea even if he’s passed fit after his ankle injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The Toffees travel to London to take on Mauricio Pochettino’s side on Monday, 15 April, and Sean Dyche has revealed that Danjuma will be playing for the reserves to build up match sharpness.
The injury expert claims that even if he’s passed fit for the Chelsea game, he will not be named in the playing eleven.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Danjuma:
“Based on the comments from Dyche, it sounds like he is building up his fitness by playing in bounce matches.
“This is imperative to rebuild his match fitness and rhythm.
“He definitely will not be starting on Monday and it’ll be a huge boost if he is on the bench. I
“t’s a long lay-off so it’ll be a morale boost for him too.
