Dharmesh Sheth shares new David Moyes exit admission amid West Ham United uncertainty
David Moyes is in a good position whether he remains at West Ham beyond this season or not, according to Dharmesh Sheth.
Speaking to GiveMeSport on Monday (15 April), the Sky Sports journalist said that if the Hammers boss decides to leave this summer, it will be on good terms given that a contract is on the table and it’s up to him if he stays on at the London Stadium.
He added that the Scotsman will still have his reputation intact as he suggested that another club are likely to recognise that he’s done an “amazing job” in East London and try to bring him in.
“One thing I think is clear,” said Sheth. “Given the job he’s done at West Ham United, and given that the contract is on the table, and given that he will dictate whether he signs it or not, whatever he does I think he’ll be in a good position.
“So if he was to leave West Ham United come the summer, it will be on good terms. And it will be with his reputation intact, whereby another club will say ‘Actually, he’s done an amazing job there. This is someone that we want at our football club as well’.”
David Moyes future remains hot topic of debate at West Ham
It’s an extremely difficult topic to provide a clear answer on whether or not Moyes should remain at West Ham beyond this season.
There is no doubt that he has done an excellent job during his time at the club, but some of the recent results – and performances – haven’t been anywhere near good enough.
There are question marks, though, over whether anyone can truly take the Hammers to the next level on the back of some great years under the Scotsman.

The board have tried their hand with a high-profile manager in Manuel Pellegrini previously and that nearly got us relegated.
It does seem as though it’s currently Moyes’s decision given that a new deal is believed to be on the table, but the club’s hierarchy will be expecting some better results over the next few weeks.
