Who needs Kalvin Richarlison and Phillips? Leeds plot bid to sign 23-goal star with “genuine quality”, imagine him & Summerville

Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Fenerbahce striker Michy Batshuayi, who is out of contract at the end of the season. The Belgian international has impressed in the Super Lig, scoring 23 goals in 40 matches, and has experience in the Premier League with Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

Leeds are said to be plotting a move for Batshuayi, who could thrive alongside Crysencio Summerville, the Championship Player of the Season. Summerville has had a phenomenal season, scoring 19 goals and providing 9 assists, and his creativity and pace could complement Batshuayi’s finishing ability.

Batshuayi’s form in Turkey has been impressive, with 11 goals from an xG of 10.82, and he has a conversion rate of 25%. He has also scored 43 goals in 72 games for Fenerbahce since the start of last season, and his experience in English football could make him a safer option for Leeds than a young striker with no Premier League experience.

Leeds are currently preparing for the Championship play-offs, and if they win promotion to the Premier League, they may make a move for Batshuayi, who could be a fantastic signing to partner with Summerville.
