‘No Chance’ – Neil Warnock predicts Leeds v S’oton playoff final clash on Sky Sports

Neil Warnock, Francis Benali, and Curtis Davies have made their predictions for the Championship playoff final clash between Leeds United and Southampton. The three Sky Sports pundits were split in their predictions, with Warnock opting for a draw, Benali backing Southampton, and Davies predicting a Leeds victory.

Warnock, who previously managed Leeds, joked that he couldn’t commit to a prediction, fearing backlash from Leeds fans if he picked Southampton. Benali, a former Southampton player, predictably backed his old team, while Davies went against the grain and predicted a Leeds win.

The playoff final is a crucial match, with the winner earning a spot in the Premier League and a significant financial boost. Leeds and Southampton have already met once this season, with Southampton coming out on top 2-1 on the final day of the regular season.

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke will have to decide on a strategy for the match, whether to focus on defense and counter-attack or try to match Southampton’s possession-based style. The team has been in good form lately, with consecutive clean sheets and a return to goalscoring form after a barren spell.

The fans will be eagerly anticipating the match, and the atmosphere at Wembley is expected to be electric. It’s no surprise that the pundits were split in their predictions, given the even nature of the playoff final.

In other Leeds news, players Charlie Cresswell and Joe Gelhardt are reportedly considering an exit from Elland Road this summer if the club achieves promotion to the Premier League.
