As the summer transfer window approaches, Everton are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja, who could be available for around £20m. With a pass accuracy of 84% compared to Calvert-Lewin’s 56%, Broja’s all-round game is more impressive. He also boasts a better take-on success rate and a higher goal-per-shot-on-target ratio than the English forward.

While Broja’s aerial ability is not as strong as Calvert-Lewin’s, his potential to retain possession and create chances for his teammates makes him an attractive option for Dyche’s side. With Calvert-Lewin’s future uncertain, Broja could be the perfect replacement, following in the footsteps of Lukaku, who scored 87 goals in 166 appearances for Everton.

However, the signing of Broja may be a stretch for Everton, given their financial situation. The club’s proposed takeover by 777 Partners has stalled, and outgoings are expected this summer to avoid further points deductions.
